  3.         What is CSRNet? Well, simply put, CSRNet is a gateway for
  4.   INTERNET Private E-Mail and USENET NewsGroups. If you have been
  5.   looking for a way to get an INTERNET feed for your BBS or just
  6.   for personal reasons, then CSRNET is for you. We currently have
  7.   State Co-Ordinators is many states in the U.S. as well as sever-
  8.   al Provincial Co-Ordinators in Canada.

  10.         If you have the ability to process mail via a FrontEnd
  11.   Mailer and a Mail Tosser for your BBS in .PKT format, or via
  12.   .QWK packets and a Mail Tosser for your BBS, you have EVERYTHING
  13.   you require to recieve our gated INTERNET Private E-Mail and
  14.   USENET NewsGroups Feed! All the conversions that are neccessary
  15.   have already been performed and all you need to to is dial in
  16.   and grab your mail! We are NOW capable of providing NewsGroup and
  17.   InterNet Private E-Mail via UUCICO.

  19.         CSRNET is currently carrying approxiamtely 5200 of the
  20.   7,000+ USENET NewsGroups. We have access to all of these news-
  21.   groups and are able to get any of them activated. Please refer
  22.   to the CSRNET.ZIP file for further information on this sub-
  23.   ject. These available NewsGroups range from Beer Making to
  24.   Abortion Debates to Elvis Sightings to Thesis Papers on Aids.
  25.   Basically, if there is a subject to be talked about, its
  26.   available as a NewsGroup!

  28.         ALSO, an area that has been MUCH improved apon has been
  29.   the handling of InterNet Private E-Mail.  We are NOW sending and
  30.   receiving DIRECT, ROUTED InterNet Private E-Mail.  Each downlink
  31.   BBS (FTS-.PKT) format, now have their OWN UNIQUE BBS MAP name that
  32.   allows their system to receive ONLY messages for users on THEIR
  33.   BBS!!! This feature is ***FREE*** with your Mail feed and Admin-
  34.   istration Payment of JUST $10/month!!! Beat that!

  40.         If you live in a State or Province that is NOT listed be-
  41.   low, and would like the opportunity to be the State or Provincial
  42.   Co-Ordinator for your area, PLEASE File Request (FREQ) CSRNET
  43.   from 1:222/21@FidoNet(16.8 DS) or 1:222/27@FidoNet(28.8). The file
  44.   CSRNET.ZIP is the complete information package that has ALL the
  45.   current information on CSRNET.

  47.           Please realize that Co-Ordinator and HOST sites are issued
  48.   on a first come first serve basis. As Vacancies are filled, the
  49.   following list will be updated. If for some reason you are
  50.   unable to FREQ the CSRNET file from your respective Co-Ordinator,
  51.   you will ALWAYS be able to get the latest version from 1:222/21
  52.   (16.8 DS) or 1:222/27 (28.8).

  54.          Also be advised that CSRNet is NOW allowing Co-Ordinators to
  55.   Co-Ordinate MULTIPLE States or Provinces. Once again, all positions
  56.   are based on a first come, first served basis.

  77.         One last word. We our now processing and forwarding NUMEROUS
  78.   NetWorks along with this. This includes the ENTIRE FidoNet feed,
  79.   including the ENTIRE FILEBONE as an added bonus to our systems.
  80.   We are NOW processing roughly 40-80 MEGS of Newsgroups on a
  81.   DAILY basis!!!
